Annual reports

The TAC 2018/19 Annual report has been officially tabled in State Parliament.

The report provides an important record of yet another busy and eventful 12 months within our organisation.

  • In this period we achieved some very significant changes and reached important milestones including, in 2018, the lowest ever number of lives lost in a calendar year – a promising breakthrough on our Towards Zero journey that has since, sadly, been tempered by a spike in fatalities in 2019.
  • In 2018/19 we oversaw the installation of a further 682-kilometres of flexible barriers as part of a broader $299 million infrastructure investment package, opened the doors of our world-first $55 million Road to Zero education centre and through a series of forums and grass roots partnerships, initiated new conversations about road safety.
  • For our clients, we continued to remove impediments to good care, through the introduction of Rory’s Law, made our scheme accessible to more people and via a series of reforms,  ensured our clients have a louder voice and greater say than ever before in their own life back on track outcomes.
  • We also celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Geelong!
