Dentist IME

Independent medical examiners (IMEs) are clinical professionals approved by the TAC to conduct independent medical examinations and report their findings to assist in claims management.

A small number of dentist IMEs conduct independent medical examinations and provide independent clinical opinions, playing a critical role in ensuring the TAC scheme provides the right treatments and benefits to injured Victorians.

IMEs are asked to sign the IME Declaration PDF, 0.02MB. The Declaration applies terms, conditions and standards including acceptance of peer review for quality assurance purposes.
