The magistrate with conviction sentenced the accused to an 18 month Community Corrections Order to perform 200 hours of unpaid work, and ordered the accused to pay TAC compensation in the amount of $52,756.20.
The accused was in receipt of TAC Loss of Earnings benefits, however, he had returned to work as a painter almost immediately after the TAC accident without advising the TAC of the return to work.
