Annual reports

The TAC 2022/23 Annual Report has been tabled in State Parliament showing a record level of support for people impacted by road trauma.

In the 2022-2023 financial year, the TAC funded $1.63 billion in support and benefits to help more than 45,000 people get their lives back on track after an accident on Victorian roads – compared with $1.54 billion in 2021-22.

Other highlights from the TAC’s 2022/23 Annual Report include:

  • Established a new $1.5-million restorative justice program with RMIT University’s Centre for Innovate Justice
  • 950 seriously injured clients returned to work.
  • A $2.1-million three-year funding agreement extension with Amber Community
  • 1172 common law resolutions under world-leading protocols
  • Personalised care plans for 6000 TAC clients
  • A new long-term partnership with Victorian Tourism Industry Council to deliver safer outcomes for road travelers.
  • Supported Victoria’s new Mobile Phone and Seatbelt Detection Cameras with a three-phase public education campaign
  • Launched innovative new motorcycle safety gear campaign, ‘The Gear Box’, sharing real stories
  • The TAC launched its first Inclusion and Diversity Framework, and four-year Gender Equality Action Plan in 2022–23
