Independent impairment assessments and reports (TAC requested) fees
Update on new Medical Examination ModelFrom 1 July 2025, the TAC’s new Medical Examination Model will be in place. Under this model, the provision of Independent Medical Examination (IME) services will be supplied by a panel of medico-legal intermediaries.

The fees below outline the fees payable for Independent Impairment Assessments that are requested by the TAC.
In response to COVID-19 the TAC introduced temporary funding of telehealth services to ensure clients can still access the treatments and services they need related to their transport accident.
