Updated TAC Protocols will go into effect on 30 March 2026. A new fee schedule will be introduced for Joint Medical Examinations (JMEs) in line with the Joint Medical Examination Protocol 2026.

To allow for a transition period, the new JME fee schedule will not apply until 1 July 2026. From this date, the TAC will pay JME fees in line with the published fee schedule.

The previously published fee schedule is being reviewed and will be republished prior to its effective date.
