Victoria’s Transport Accident Commission (TAC) has removed its medical excess and announced significant changes to how service providers interact with the TAC.
The TAC is advising all health and service providers to be wary of receiving fraudulent emails (‘phishing’ scams) from people purporting to be from the TAC.
The TAC has cut red tape for our service providers - removing the requirement for our clients to pay the first $651 of their treatment costs, known as the 'medical excess'. For accidents on or after 14th February 2018 the medical excess no longer applies.
