    New fees and other updates - 26 Jun 2018

    Our new fee schedules go into effect 1 July 2018. We've also extended our LanternPay fee rebate, launched an attendant care weekend rate, ended EIPF registrations and updated our billing standards.

    People in Australia with intellectual and developmental disability have poorer health than the rest of the community, take more medication, are hospitalised more often and stay in hospital longer.  Professor Susan Balandin and Dr. Jo Watson from Deakin University visited the TAC to discuss how Australia is measuring up to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities ten years on.

    Study challenges typical approach to posttraumatic amnesia - 25 Jun 2018

    A recent project sheds new light on how to treat patients with posttraumatic amnesia. Research shows that earlier therapy may improve functionality and help reduce the patient's hospital stay.
