Elevated fire risk across Victoria

Several districts across Victoria are facing elevated fire risk this week.

The Government has shared the following urgent advice broadly across the state:

  • You can’t control fire, you can leave early.
  • Monitor conditions and stay informed – visit the VicEmergency website to download the VicEmergency app and check the Fire Danger Rating daily.
  • When the Fire Danger Rating in your area is Extreme or Catastrophic, leaving early is always the safest option.
