The Victorian Government is making sure people injured on our roads get the care and support they need.
Deputy Premier and Minister for WorkSafe and the TAC Ben Carroll today announced the recipients of the TAC’s 2025 Best Client Outcomes Grant Program.
Five health and disability organisations will share in almost $1 million worth of grants to go toward research projects that strengthen the recovery and rehabilitation support available for TAC clients.
The successful organisations are:
- Alfred Health – investigating anxiety on hospital discharge and the effect of psychosocial follow-ups
- Murdoch Children’s Research Institute – creating tools to improve spinal cord injury care information
- The Community Doctor – supporting community-based empowerment for Victorians living with pain
- Step 2 Allied Health – developing guidelines to help injured Victorians with anxiety return to driving
- Epworth HealthCare – developing training for allied health traumatic brain injury rehabilitation
Every year the TAC supports more than 40,000 Victorians impacted by a transport accident. Last financial year, the TAC funded $1.87 billion in care and benefits to support more than 43,000 people injured on Victorian roads.
The no-fault scheme provides care to injured Victorians for as long as they need it.
