Letters of instruction submitted must use the approved templates jointly developed by the TAC, the Australian Lawyers Alliance, and the Law Institute of Victoria, in accordance with the Joint Medical Examination Protocol 2026.

The standard content and prescribed questions in the letters of instruction must not be amended or removed. Additional questions may be included, and the letters may be otherwise completed as required.
