The Victorian Parliament has passed 26 amendments to the Transport Accident Act 1986 to ensure people affected by road trauma get the most appropriate care, treatment and compensation well into the future. 

The Act guides the TAC on the types of benefits it can pay and any conditions that might apply to claims for TAC assistance.
